VoIP Reselling: Sonus Partners with NVision in Russia
5 июля 2006
A new partnership announced on Wednesday will enable Moscow-based NVision Group, a system integrator, to promote Sonus' IP Multimedia Subsystem (News - Alert) (IMS)-ready architecture and work with the VoIP service provider to target service providers throughout Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
"By leveraging relationships with regional companies that understand the nuances of specific geographies and business climates, Sonus is broadening its global reach and penetrating new markets," said Sonus Networks' (News - Alert) Joop Van Aard in a statement. "NVision Group is a trusted and respected system integrator in a region that can benefit from the deployment of IP-based voice solutions."
"NVision Group's goal is to help our customers deliver the most value from their technology investments," said Andrei Zuzin, 1st Deputy General Director of NVision Group. "We have successful partnerships with national telecom and public clients, and by entering into an agreement with Sonus, we're able to provide our customers with a network architecture that is quick to deploy and scales cost -- efficiently."
Sonus made news last month when it announced that Group of Gold Line (Gold Line), a prepaid long distance calling card provider in Canada, deployed a suite of Sonus' IP Multimedia Subsystem-ready offferings to support its Gold Line's prepaid, private label and promotional calling cards.
Sonus will enable Gold Line to upkeep its distribution agreement with Western Union, Canada Post, Mac's stores, 7-Eleven, CIBC ATM, Shell, Petro Canada, Esso and over 100,000 independent outlets across North America to carry its CiCi Phone Card (CiCi), and/or co-branded calling card programs and increase its distribution channels across Canada.
